ABSTRACT
PURPOSE:
To evaluate incarcerated women's (IW) needs regarding a Comprehensive Sex Education (CSE) pilot strategy, aiming to strengthen the exercise of their reproductive and sexual rights.

DISCUSSION:
In Chile, incarcerated women face structural conditions that cause difficulties in access to sexual and reproductive health, including the lack of systematic and participative CSE programs within prisons. This project aims to design and implement a participative education intervention that is culturally and pedagogically adapted to the context. Framed on UNESCO, UNFPA, and UN Rules for Treatment of Women Prisoners, informally known as the "Bangkok Rules," the project incorporates gender, human rights, and public health perspectives

EVIDENCE WHERE RELEVANT:
A participative diagnosis has been completed in two women's correctional facilities in Santiago. We applied two instruments, developed and adapted to the specific correctional characteristics and the CSE main themes. Furthermore, the instruments were reviewed by a CSE consultant for expert quality. Preliminarily, we identified critical needs around consent, body autonomy, menstrual health, and access to STDs and contraception information. Currently, we are conducting the educative strategies validation phase using Delphi's technique. Project implementation and evaluation is projected for the last quarter of 2025.

KEY MESSAGE:
Even in prison, CSE must be recognized and guaranteed as a right. This project will show the transformative potential of educative proposals designed for and with incarcerated women, contributing to their health, dignity, and autonomy.
