ABSTRACT
THE LEARNING OUTCOMES:
This workshop provides maternity professionals with practical, science-based tools to support maternal health, fetal brain development, and stronger family bonds. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of how nutrition, movement, mindset, and simple daily practices reduce stress, improve sleep, and enhance emotional connection. They will gain confidence in teaching these techniques to expectant mothers and partners, helping to build healthier, happier future generations and the connection to longevity.
THE PROCESS/ACTIVITIES:
The session blends group activities and individual exercises to ensure an engaging and dynamic learning experience. Participants will explore how to apply quick, effective mind-body tools, including relaxation techniques, NLP-based mindset shifts, and simple self-hypnosis practices. We will introduce mini-quizzes, small group reflections, and joyful movement exercises — including singing and dancing — proven to promote emotional resilience and neuroplasticity. Attendees will try out practical strategies for enhancing “feel-good” hormones such as dopamine, oxytocin, and testosterone through food choices, movement, and positive brain training.
AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION:
This is a highly interactive session. Participants will engage in guided exercises, group discussions, and hands-on demonstrations. Small group work will foster shared learning and practical application, while individual tasks will give attendees direct experience of techniques they can teach or use personally. The workshop is designed for easy integration into maternity care and family support.
Additional reading
The workshop is grounded in evidence from PubMed studies, large-scale nutritional research (e.g., Zinzino’s 1.4 million test data), and the work of Dr. Daniel Amen (Happiness Challenge), Dr. Rick Hanson (positive neuroplasticity), and longevity science. The content integrates medical knowledge, NLP, hypnosis, and nutrition science for pregnancy care.
