ABSTRACT
THE LEARNING OUTCOMES:
We would like to introduce you to HypnoBirthing®, a rewarding, relaxing, stress-free method of birthing that is based on the belief that when a mother is properly prepared for birthing physically, mentally, and spiritually, she can experience the joy of birthing her baby in an easier, more comfortable way. n this 90-minute workshop on HypnoBirthing®, we will discuss: Topics that are taught over 5 sessions Evidence-based benefits and outcomes Hypnosis during birth Relaxation techniques Birth companion support What birth professionals can do to support HypnoBirthing® families

THE PROCESS/ACTIVITIES:
We will have a PowerPoint presentation, show a video of a HypnoBirthing® mother giving birth, and practice the techniques that are taught to prepare the mind and body.

AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION:
The audience will actively participate in visualization and relaxation techniques, breathing techniques, deep hypnosis, and releasing limiting thoughts. Additional reading Baker K.
