ABSTRACT
THE LEARNING OUTCOMES:
Review the findings of our video analysis study. Recognize the value and role of using video analysis to learn about vaginal breech birth Understand the academic and clinical educator’s role in teaching how to support physiological breech birth and when and how to intervene if clinically indicated. Engage in role plays and scenarios to understand the process of physiological breech birth and when and how to intervene if clinically indicated. Discuss strategies to enhance confidence in supporting physiological breech birth. Process/activities

THE PROCESS/ACTIVITIES:
An overview of the findings of our video analysis study (15 minutes). A brief demonstration of how we reviewed the videos with elements drawn from study data to provide a starting point for small group discussions (5 minutes). Participants will be break into five small groups to analyse a breech birth video, identifying interventions and their rationales. Each group will discuss scenarios with prompts for lively discussion, led by researchers from the study. Groups will rotate once, with 20 minutes per video review and discussion. Discussion will address factors that impact accessing vaginal birth skills, gaining confidence for supporting vaginal breech birth and facilitators and barriers to providing clinical care to women with a breech presenting baby. Return to the large group for sharing highlights of the small group discussion and addressing any questions that arise (25 minutes). End with a summary and affirmation of the importance of our work (5 minutes).

AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION:
Participants will engage in small group work and large group discussions to review video analysis findings, breech birth education, clinical experiences, and strategies to support physiologic vaginal breech birth. Participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences, challenges, and successes in breech birth.
